Welcome to Rood End Medical Centre

Improved Access for our patients 

We are delighted to inform our patients that starting from 01.09.2017, the practice will be open from 8am till 8pm, Monday to Friday and we will continue to open on the weekdays too !!!!!

Patients will be able to book appointments with practice nurse, HCA's, GP's and clinical Pharmacists. We are also introducing special clinics for patients who need social support to improve their health and wellbeing. Please feel free to speak to the practice manager if you wish to have more information about this service. 

Recent CQC Inspection

Changes to the Extended Hours session

Starting from 03.06.2017, our extended hours sessions will be held on Saturdays instead of Tuesdays. Saturday extended hours clinic times are 09:30am till 12:30am. Appointments are available with an experienced practice nurse.

New Text Message Appointment Reminder Service for patients

The practice is now Live with the New Text Message service. All our patients were sent a Welcome text message recently. If you wish to use this service, please contact the reception desk and give us your updated mobile number.

 

New patient online services

From April 2016, all patients should be able to view thier medical records online. At Rood End Medical centre we have already set up the system to enable this service.

If you wish to use the patient online services, please ask the reception staff for your log-in details. You can book appointments online and order repeat prescriptions using the online system.

Your Accountable GP

All practices are required to inform all registered patients about their named accountable GP. We have been informing all our patients since last year and have already put notices in the waiting areas and reception.

Your named Accountable GP is Dr M Dewji. However, patients can see any clinician of their choice when they attend the practice.
